Free Hummus was a personal creative project. The project was an experiment in both in terms of output, as well as Instagram page management. Thanks to my own part-time effort and the help of a brilliant photographer, Nadia Todores, the page has reached almost a 1,000 followers in just 1.5 months and 12 posts. I wrapped up the project due to time constraints and a shift in focus, however, many valuable lessons were learned.

All of the images were produced from one source image, occasionally adding things generated by After Effects. I have separated the image into layers, cutting out bits for animation and 'filling up' the emptied spaces with elements from the image. This technique has a plethora of commercial uses and can be retrospectively applied to existing outputs and campaigns. This is an innovative approach bound to turn some heads by putting unexpected into the mundane.
